My First Best Friend:
I was about to pull out the cheese card and say my momma, but that is a given.
So I'll go with my second first best friend. We'll call her "A". I met A in kindergarten and we always were put in the same class til about 2nd grade. We were inseparable and did everything together! I actually remember her 5th or 6th birthday party almost perfectly. It was probably because while playing ghost in the grave yard I ran head first in an electrical pole, and my mom had to come pick me up early because I was bleeding heavily from the forehead. Life of the party right here!
I got up in moved away in 3rd grade but we actually found each other on facebook about 2 years ago and talk all the time. Come to find out she used to date my sister's boyfriend's brother.
small weird world, as usual.
First Concert
My first concert was one of those outdoor palooza type thingys.
I was 13 and begged my mom for my birthday to let me go. I was allowed to go with an older chaperon, I of course choose my older step sister, because she was "cool" enough to escort me. I saw Ja Rule, I believe Shaggy was there as well. I went for Bowling for Soup, remember the "girls all the bad guys want" guys. I was a little skank and used that song as my 13 year old anthem (puke) and was beyond excited to see them. I even got to meet them after words and give them a hug. I wasn't even star struck, but since I had seen people be star stuck I was all like "ohhhh my gosh I LOVE YOU guys" because that's how I thought I was supposed to act.
Seriously I was a hot pre-teen mess.
First Celeb Crush
I don't even consider this a crush, I consider this my first love.
Leo DiCaprio. The first time my 7 year old self set eyes on him in that dark movie theater on the opening night of Titanic I was seriously in love.
7 years old? Yep. I was boy crazy young, and also totally believed that if Leo and I ever met in person that he would totally want to marry me. Creep status.
I than went on to see Titanic 3 more times, JUST in theaters because I loved him, and I cried, literally cried, when he died. Every time. Like I didn't know it was coming?
To this day I would be all over Jack Dawson if he truly existed. Hot Damn.
So who were you crushing on at the exciting age of 7
link up and let us know!

I had the same crush on Jack Dawson and went to that movie four nights in a row too! Only I was 23 years old, so we really could have worked out in real life. :)

ReplyDeleteAndddd I still cry.
How funny! I'm a day late in reading this week, so I will link up next week! Sounds like fun!
