This is not the first time I have read a blogger share that "moment" in life when they knew they were here for a reason, they knew that their life was truly on the right track and they finally in their life were truly happy.
I believe we all truly have this moment. whether it hits us directly in the face or it over comes in time. There will come a time in every one's life when they finally feel that THIS is why you are here. THIS is who you are meant to be.
You can be a 15 year dancer who is taking their bow at the applause of the audience
You can be a 23 year old who just hiked the highest mountain
You can be a 26 year old who just got engaged
You can be a 31 year old who after years of hard work finally lands that dream job
You can be a 50 year old sitting on your couch sick of watching the world just pass you by.
They are all different, they are all unique, they are all our OWN.
Big or small, we all have at least one of these moments in our life. It's a moment that will rock you to your core. It will make you cry, it will make you smile.
It's the time in your life where you can look at everything that happened before that exact moment and say "Okay, I know why it all happened that way, it was to lead me to this moment, right here."
If you can not truly pinpoint this moment in your life, it doesn't mean it never happened. Maybe it's in the mists of happening as you read this. Maybe there is something bigger in you future where it will reveal it's self. Don't ever believe your time won't come, It is just waiting to make it's grand entrance.
"I have learned that faith means trusting in advance what will only make sense in reverse."

I love this post so much! My moment was holding my son for the first time after his birth. I was in and out of consciousness and had some complications post-delivery where I wasn't fully awake and couldn't hold him until he was a day old. It was as if in that moment, despite the I fact I was on enough anti-seizure drugs to stop a charging rhino, there was no pain and everything just fell into place and I thought "this is it. This is life."
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks friend!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful and uplifting post. You certainly have a way with the the written word!
You're going to move mountains with your gift one day, I just know it.
THANKS for this! I have to admit that I get a tad butthurt when I hear all my friends say that you don't really have a "purpose" until you have children. I don't believe that whatsoever, and there are so many reasons that we are all put on this earth. Everyone is different and everyone has different defining moments. I'm not sure I've found my "purpose" yet. Maybe it will reveal itself someday :)
ReplyDeleteI love this post! I can't wait for my moment!
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing post!!
ReplyDeleteI had one of those moments the other day, actually, when I received an email from a girl newly diagnosed with arthritis. It's amazing to me how God connects people who are meant to be friends in a place as big as blog land!
