Weekend Shenanigans: Wedding Hair, Sunburn, & Double Fisting

Once again Marvelous Monday has graced us with it's presence. It's always so hard to go back to work after such a fun filled weekend,  I had my wedding hair and makeup trial this weekend! I absolutely LOVED it! Doing all this fun stuff makes it SO surreal that it is only a month away! Here is a little sneak peak:    

     After my little morning pamper party I met up with the boys for happy hour at our favorite restaurant on Siesta Key; Daiquiri Deck. It's spring break so the place was CRAZY, I love living in paradise and getting to experience all the fun perks of the spring break parties every weekend. I joined in on the fun by double fisting my daqs; which lead to nothing but a huge brain freeze.  

   After our hour of happiness we decided to walk the key, join in on the party, and I scarfed down some glazed mini donuts. Judge all you want but they were DELICIOUS!  

   Sunday Morning was spent the usual way, heading over to our FAVORITE hole in the wall restaurant. They love us and love getting the weekend play by play of our wedding plans. They don't even take P's order anymore, they know EXACTLY what he likes. Living in a big city I love that I can still find that small town service, makes me feel so at home.  

    When we walked in to breakfast it was cloudy, muggy and a bummer sort of day. We had given up hopes of spending the day on the boat, and settled for spending it spring cleaning the house, but mother nature had other plans for us, when we left the restaurant the sun was shining and there was NO clouds in the sky. We ran home, hopped in our swim suits and headed out for day on the water.   We bought live shrimp (which I baited myself), and I was SO excited to finally catch some salt water fish, since P is usually the one with all the luck. Too bad there must have been some smart little hungry hippos in that water because they KEPT stealing my bait. It was a total buzzkill but we had fun blaring country tunes, and exploring the small islands!  

  Well having a great time, we underestimated the power of the sun and both came out a little crisper than we had planned. Porter looks like a tomato and I look like I got a little burnt around the edges as well. We both went home bathed in cooling after sun aloe and took a cat nap with the poochies before Oscars came on TV,
