Anniversary Weekends Should Last Forever

I did not want this weekend to end, which means Monday is looking like a big ole' bully right now, and I am NOT a fan.

First off thank you for ALL of your well wishes, and sweet comments on Facebook, instagram, twitter, emails, and of course here on the blog. I (We) are so lucky to have all of you, and it just made our day that much better!

We decided instead of a weekend getaway to celebrate that we would just do a "stay-cation" and relax, which was probably the best idea we have ever had!

On Saturday we ran some morning errands, stopped for a scrumptious breakfast before just sitting at home on the couch with 3 Redbox movies, snacks, and each other.
If it wasn't for our furry food obsessed babies, we would have had ZERO distractions.

On Sunday we woke up, and even though he doesn't drink obsess over Starbucks like I do, he made a special trip, way out of our way before Church to go and get me my coffee. A way to THIS girls heart is iced coffee, and my awesome husband obviously knows this. After Church we went for lunch and a couples massage, which ohhhh my goodness. Can I please just get one everyday? It was SO relaxing!

After going home, and getting ready it was dinnnnnner (& car selfie) time!

We decided to have dinner at the exact location where we were married. Without even planning we sat down at our table almost exactly the time our ceremony started. It's a new tradition that I am sure we will practice for years to come.

The ONLY thing I really wanted from this whole day, besides spending time with P, was to recreate one of my favorite wedding pictures....though no one was around, and a large stand alone fence was the ONLY option to use as a makeshift tripod, I'd say it turned out pretty good.
Not perfect, but perfect for us.

The sunset was perfect on our walk back to the car, and my gorgeous Pandora bracelet that I have been asking for so perfectly glistened in the sunlight. It was a PERFECT weekend, with a perfect man.

So, seriously Monday? Go away....
You will never compare.

Any man that understands the necessity that is a Starbuck's coffee and is willing to drive out of the way to get it for you? KEEPER. Absolute. Keeper.
